What are the main advantages of our system?
Integration of timetabling and reservation
IRIS-Planning's advanced management and database technology means that reservations of rooms and equipment, and timetabling of employees are all managed by the planning-engine, ensuring consistent and up-to-date information.
Suitable for both simple and complex situations
You can choose to permit users only restricted access to functionality using the planning board of IRIS Web-Reservation. On the other hand, you can generate timetables with IRIS Web-Pro in which IRIS takes complex conditions like maximal workload, optimal room use, minimal distance and so on, into account.
Compact input of requirements
You can input just a single requirement-form in order to indicate the requirements for a sequence of activities taking place in one or more weeks. You indicate room, person, equipment and time options for the system to choose from. You can copy requirements from previous periods.
Optimal use of employees and resources
When you request it, IRIS-Planning schedules all indicated weeks of a specific period, taking into account all requirements. Extending the infrastructure of your organization
You can add departments and sub-departments and/or locations and sub-locations of your organization to the system so that IRIS-Planning grows along with your organization.
Multi-user
Multiple users can reserve rooms, persons and equipment within IRIS-Planning. You decide by means of privileges what is allowed and to whom.
Central timetabling of multiple departments/locations
Departments can reserve locations and persons belonging to others. You indicate which locations belong to which departments and which locations can be reserved by other departments.
Comprehensive timetable publication
You can generate an unlimited number of timetable overviews for one or more persons, rooms and/or equipment. In addition, you can generate ad hoc management reports showing occupancy, workload etc. You can place overviews on your own website. You can use the App to view up to date timetables on your phone and tablet. You can synchronize the desired timetables in in your Calender.
E-mail notification of changes
People can be informed automatically via e-mail of any changes to their timetable(s).
You can generate planning scenarios
You can insert and experiment with different scenarios to find out if your organization has sufficient capacity to deal with future changes.
Linking-up to external systems
IRIS-Planning is capable of importing data from other systems and exporting data to other systems in your organization.
